Store - Nightmare

Carrie and I, my Occupational Therapist,  got into the car and drove to Walmart. I had a super long list, too long to be honest. It was not really what I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be me finding everything in the store but it was not as easy as I thought it would be. I thought I would be able to find the items by category by the aisle, but they were not really organized like that. I felt like a blind man looking for something and didn’t know where anything was, come to find out. So next time, which I have another session next week, I would like to look for just four items and go and find those. Not twenty items because when it comes down to it, I can’t find my way around. I didn’t know I would be doing so much. I mostly just bought snacks and crap like that because fruits and vegetables weren’t on my list. We were there for too long, maybe an hour and a half. The Occupational Therapist walked along next to me but did not really help me find the items, but that was the whole point for me to do this by myself. I can only hope next time I will do a whole lot better. What I think I want to do, is categorize them so I can find them more easily.
