Today was the first day I have left Learning Services in over a year. I was originally excited to go. On the way there, we listened to Spanish music which I didn’t care for because I didn’t know what they were saying. Trying to relate this to a real life situation, it is what you make it. Being that it has been a while since I have been out doing whatever, I wasn’t in the mindset of “let’s make it happen!” As you can imagine, it was pretty boring. I didn’t get to explore the park or the area. I took photos, did what I could, talked to the other residents, and ate lunch. I would have liked to be able to walk around and gather the whole experience, not just sit on the bench. The drive home was the same, BORING, and more Spanish music. Fun!

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Like I said before in my previous book, everything I have done I have done through Jesus Christ my savior. He has blessed me beyond measure. He has blessed me with financial security, family and my health. He gave us Christ to be forgiven of our sins through Him. This is a reminder to me that He gave His life for everyone. This is not something that can be measured, whether we are worthy or not. I always grew up going to church, and when I was a teenager I was going through the motions. But now that I am wiser, I can actually feel the presence of God in my life. If you are having problems with your urinary tract, you should consider consuming cranberries and cranberry juice because it not only clears the urinary tract but cleans the blood. Consuming this juice will prevent that from happening. I’m no doctor though, so please contact your primary care physician for more information. They have other benefits as well: “Cranberries are packed with nutrients to help your body ward off infections and boost overall health. In fact, throughout history, they’ve been used to treat upset stomach and liver problems. It’s also a great source of vitamin C and E, rich in antioxidants, keeps your heart healthy, and improves digestion”. https://www.healthline.com/health/food-nutrition/cranberry-juice-benefits#prevention-of-utis There are many challenges with having a TBI and the fact that I broke so many things in my body. I will never be able to fully recover. However, I have gotten to a good point in my recovery. I have actually gotten better than they ever thought I would. It comes back to my health and my God. So moving forward, I have always been healthy, always been looking out for my body, mind, and everything in between. But it’s more important now to do more than they ever thought possible because I want to show my kids how you can overcome even if the odds are stacked against you. Even with the plight of my prognosis, I will never give up. That’s just made me push harder and further despite what they say. They said I would never walk, so the fact that I’m running is pretty impressive. They said I would probably not be able to walk because of how I fell. I broke both my ankles and my pelvis when I fell feet first. God is my shepherd and I will fear no evil for he has been with me this whole time. With Him, I will continue to go farther than I ever thought. |
