Be forewarned, these carbs are evil. They trick your mind into thinking you’re full when you are not, so you over consume. This leads to the number one cause of obesity in the USA. There are so many manufacturers that use high fructose corn syrup and other additives. They are not good for the body. This is what leads to many health problems in the US. I try to stay all natural. If you can grow it, eat it. Otherwise, stay away. From the article Refined Carbs and Sugar: The Diet Saboteurs, it states: “Refined carbohydrates include sugars and highly processed grains, such as white flour. These types of carbs generally have a high glycemic index. This means your body digests them quickly, causing a spike in your blood sugar and insulin levels. Also, when eaten in larger quantities, these foods often have a high glycemic load. The GL refers to how much a food raises your blood sugar levels, based on the serving size. Foods that are high in GI and high in GL have been found to impair brain function”.
