I would like to try kickboxing to work on my balance and leg strength. It seems like it would be a nice cardio workout. There is a studio in Gilroy and I would like to go four times a week. I would prefer one-on-one instruction for more attention and to make sure I'm doing things right. Vanessa, my case manager, suggested it and it seemed like a good idea. I have never tried it before but I'm excited t see what it's like. I'm looking forward to learning more about the foot placement so I can be more stable and being able to predict my opponents next move for self defense. Just keep in mind, I do this only for the pleasure of working out.
