I choose to see beauty where others see routine, hope where others see obstacles, and possibility where others see limits. I refuse to let the world drain the color from my soul. The world may reward conformity, but I was created to live with purpose, compassion, and joy. My colors aren't meant to blend in, they're meant to remind others that life is more than merely surviving. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. -Matthew 5:14-16 Even if the world around me seems gray, I will continue to live with faith, love, and light. Sometimes, all it takes is one colorful life to brighten the world around it. I will try to let my light shine as the world tries to smother it.

Seek, and you shall find. If you look for problems, they will appear. If you look for peace and happiness, you too will find it. Knock and the door will be opened. Seek and you will find. Galatians 6:7-9 (NIV) says,
“7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This is a reminder to me. I strive to follow my purpose not just do things for recognition. Making sure your main purpose in life is not recognition, but instead what you are working towards. God and science are both saying there is a connection to the power of our minds. For example the philosophy of the “mind filter”. This idea states that the brain filters a vast amount of information we receive, based on what we focus on and our priorities. When you enter a situation expecting hostility, or a bad experience, you will find it. Looking for problems in any situation, good, bad or ugly, you will overlook the positive aspects. So do not fall into the negative loop. Instead focus on positive aspects; that is a loop many can get behind. Today is the day we wish Thomas the happiest of birthdays.
Dear Thomas, Happy birthday! We are so proud of the work you have done this year. (BIG SURPRISES COMING!) Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey. Cheers to many more years ahead! From, Your Team I stopped chasing validation and started discovering my purpose.
For too long, I looked to others for approval, believing their opinions determined my worth. But the day I stopped asking for permission to be myself was the day my life began to change. I realized that validation is temporary, but purpose is lasting. Applause fades. Opinions change. Trends come and go. But when you know who you are and why you're here, no amount of doubt, criticism, or rejection can shake the foundation you've built within yourself. I no longer measure my life by how many people approve of me. I measure it by the courage to stay true to my values, the lives I impact, and the person I'm becoming every single day. Stop chasing acceptance from people who were never meant to define you. Invest that energy into becoming the person you were created to be. The world doesn't need another copy of someone else. It needs the authentic, fearless version of you. The moment you stop living for validation is the moment you start living with purpose. And purpose will always take you further. Take the time to say a lot of thank yous in your prayers. God gives us everything we have, everything we need, everything we want. It is not just about thanking Him for the things He has given us but also thanking Him for what we want. We should be thanking Him for what we have not yet seen. Give thanks for what you are about to do. Thank Him for waiting until you are ready to receive it. He can see the future but we can’t. Maybe the blessing is coming but we are not ready to receive it yet, that’s why you need to keep praying.
Like when I had my accident. I had to rely on God to help me regain what I had lost before I could move forward with my life. When I first fell, I was uncertain as to what I would become. I knew I needed to become stronger because with the fall, it took my strength. To be able to support myself physically, I had to be able to support my body, even just to be able to eat. I had to do a lot. Having the Father to rely on to give me everything I needed gave me comfort. Now that I have come this far, I continue to rely on my Heavenly Father to guide me each day until I am finally Home with Him. Don't forget to give a big Thank You to Him today. |
