![]() “I used to be impatient. I am learning patience.” Even though I have not reached 80 or 90 years old, He has provided me with wisdom and understanding. Patience is one of those things. It is not just me, it is Him working through me.
It was a long process, going back and forth with my doctor, case manager, and everything in between. Patience has played a big part in helping me with this. Although I'm unsure about not being able to go home, I am finding grace throughout the process. I humble myself in the process so impatience doesn’t turn to anger. In moments of frustration, with learning patience, I walk away. I collect myself. This is important so the fuse does not reach the bomb. So anger doesn't fuel my anxiety. So I do not explode. Patience stops the bad habit and breaks this chain reaction. I can instead meditate and pray. It helps me stay grounded. This coincides with patiences. Learning these techniques, and having this internal conversation with my maker, helps me stay more calm and have more patience. Overall it makes me a more pleasant person to be around. Patience is learned but it is not mastered. You are always growing deeper with patience. **COMMENT BELOW
