Difficult experiences, like personal loss, fear, or physical challenges, are often necessary to foster change and lead to personal development. It is in the pursuit of comfort that we become soft, weak, and lose our fire. I started my journey after my TBI, it was one foot in front of the other. Everyone was so worried about me falling on my face. But as I learned, falling on my face is how you start. It is the journey; it is the growth. Just keep going. One foot in front of the other is how you get to the next place or destination. Falling on your face may worry others, but it is good to know that you can get up and go again. It may take a couple times of falling on your face to realize that is part of the process. It's not just that you need to prove it to yourself but others need to see and take note. I’m not done, folks. He pushes us to Get Back Up.
