![]() I was reminded of my mother's words, "Let it roll off your back, like water on a duck's back." My trainer called this morning. My first thought was, why is he calling me….? After talking to him he told me our session had to be canceled. I was laughing not because he canceled, but because of why he had to cancel. His car, a Camaro, was stolen right out of his driveway. I started cracking up. Not to add insult to injury. At least he had a good reason. I told him he had no way of getting to me. He started laughing as well. I just thought I would share this story as a way to remind us all how someone else always has it worse. We sometimes get caught only thinking of ourselves and how things affect us, and stuff like this reminds you that everyone has “shit” happen all the time. At least my Camaro wasn’t stolen today. Let me know what you think in the comments. If you were ever put in a situation like this, what did/would you do?

I traveled to the wrong state to meet a client two weeks ago. All of the official documentation had indicated they were in Las Vegas Nevada. I book all my travel I get my rental prepared my hotel room prepared. I was even able to get an early check in. I’ll drop off all my stuff at the hotel and then I had to the clients said address, I get there. It’s still under construction and no one’s there so I called my contact and tell him I’m there and if I’m supposed to be somewhere else to give me the directions on how to get there, he responded that he was in a different state, so needless to say, I had to book travel from where I was to get to where they were it took a whole Nother day to get to where they were.
