Walking… The sand from the beach adds resistance. Girls, when you walk bare foot on the sand it's like a pedicure for the entire foot. Running, like walking, you get all the same benefits and more. You may work up a sweat and you are firing on all cylinders, which means you are putting more stress on the muscle, burning more calories. With that said, make sure you hydrate; your muscles and brain need the H2o. If you are looking for more energy, God has provided us with everything we need. Add a pinch of salt to your water; it will provide electrolytes! Volleyball, yes, it's another activity that you can play with friends or family. The beach is that versatile. As humans, we don't think too far out of the box. There are so many different things you can do at the same place, but we don’t think about that. We just go and do one thing and are done. Other ideas to expand your time at the beach:
